Hi! I'm Hugo. I am an Auckland-based videographer from Hong Kong. Since moving to New Zealand when I was thirteen, I have become addicted to adventuring and travelling around this beautiful country that I now call my second home. The breathtaking scenery and natural environment of Aotearoa have become my daily inspiration to capture every moment of it while I can.

I have been fascinated by the different cultures that I have encountered during my adventures. I am fluent in many languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Japanese) because I believe that learning a language is the best way to understand a culture.

For me, filming is a way to express our creativity. It also allows the special - often fleeting - moments in our lives to be preserved in motion. When our memories fail us, we still have something to hold onto to remind us of those unique moments in time.

I have two dreams in life - first, start my own café. I enjoy the idea of a cafe being a pitstop for people during their busy day to grab a bite or wind down with a coffee... a momentary escape from the stressful world. 

My other dream is to start my own family here in New Zealand - the perfect place for a simple family life.
